Apply for the South Beach Harbor Berth Waitlist

Requirements 

You must have: 

  • Current California DMV registration or USCG documentation 
  • Proof of marine insurance 

Need to Know 

  • You cannot live onboard the vessel. 
  • You must have current registration documentation and marine insurance at all times. 
  • Only one person can be named Berth Holder per application.
  • Houseboats, house cruisers and similar vessels are not allowed. 
  • You must keep your contact information current with the Harbor office.
  • You may turn down a berth if offered. If you turn down a berth more than three times, you will be dropped to the bottom of the waitlist.
  • Hold offers - Applicants must request the reactivation or extension of hold offers. Slip offers after the applications expired hold date will count towards the account.
  • Side‐ties - Side-ties are for vessels less than 20 feet.The Harbor has limited spaces available for side-ties with masts. Side‐ties cannot transfer to larger slips.
  • Slips are strictly enforced by size. LOA length as advertised with 1' overhang. Beam width as advertised minus 2'.
  • When a berth becomes available, it will be offered to the person at the top of the waitlist. If you accept a berth offer, you must schedule a vessel inspection and submit valid vessel documents.
