San Francisco’s waterfront will be transformed through a new generational investment to defend the city against sea level rise, inland flooding, and seismic risks. Recognizing the scale of this effort, the Port of San Francisco and its partners are utilizing the public realm to engage city residents and visitors in the waterfront and in the Port’s Waterfront Resilience Program. Join the Port of San Francisco, the Ferry Building, and the Exploratorium to learn how they are using creative activations to draw people to the waterfront, raise awareness, and proactively engage residents and visitors in caring about its future. This panel will feature a participatory component, inviting the audience to collaborate with panelists in generating new ideas for partnerships and programming.
