    F. Restaurant Re-leasing
The Port hired Maven Commercial as a broker to assist in leasing spaces at 490 Jefferson, as well as the former locations of Pompeii’s, Lou’s, and Alioto’s. Progress has been strong, with a new tenant, Everett & Jones BBQ, approved by the Port Commission on February 25th for the former Lou’s space. This well-known Oakland-based restaurant was selected through a competitive bidding process managed by Maven Commercial. Following Port Commission approval, the lease now requires approval from the Board of Supervisors before execution, with construction expected to begin soon and an anticipated opening in early Q4. Progress is also being made on leasing the former Pompeii’s space, though details remain private until Port Commission approval. Leasing 490 Jefferson has been more challenging, and efforts to secure a tenant for Alioto’s are still ongoing.
