Port Beautification Day: Warm Water Cove Park

Join the Port of San Francisco for a volunteer beautification day at Warm Water Cove Park. To celebrate California Coastal Cleanup Day, September's Port Parks Beautification event will join the hunt for a cleaner coast! Volunteers will have the opportunity to work alongside Port staff and make a difference along the historic San Francisco waterfront. Volunteers can expect to pull weeds, litter pick, and enjoy a morning of community service.

Event Overview

• The event kicks off at Warm Water Cove Park (see address) under the Port tent (look for Port sign). Check-in will begin at 8:30 AM. All volunteers will need to complete a liability waiver
• Port staff will share some information about the park, review the day’s activities, and provide a quick safety overview.
• Volunteers and Port Staff will then head to their assigned work.
• Work will take place for about 3 hours (9-12), with everyone returning to the kickoff location around noon.

What to Wear/Bring

• Dress in layers
• Wear closed-toe shoes and sunscreen
• Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated
